Under the conditions of quarantine, the meeting was held via video link-representatives of various departments participated in it, almost without moving away from their jobs. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the industrial safety and labor protection Committee of Kazakhmys Holding LLP, Maxim Komel. He said that according to the results of the period 2018-20, it was possible to achieve a reduction in fatal injuries by 36%, and in general - by 20%. He also spoke about the main achievements to date – identification of the main hazards and implementation of measures to reduce dangerous working conditions, personnel involved in the work to prevent injuries and increase awareness of safety, as well as increased competence of the Department of the industrial safety and labor protection to support production personnel. Thus, the movement towards zero injuries, automation and digitalization of the industrial safety and labor protection management system will continue to improve the quality of work, as well as the use of advanced technologies to improve personnel knowledge. In turn, the director of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Darkhan Zhangirov, said that over the past two years, over 61 thousand risks were identified in the Kazakhmys Group. More than 1.2 billion tenge was spent on the implementation of the program. Also, within the framework of the meeting, the leaders of the Zhylandinsky mine, the Zhezkazgan concentrator, Balkhash and Zhezkazgan copper smelters made presentations on the best practices of the risk management system. After summing up the results of the work, the awarding of the best employees who made the greatest contribution to the development of the Risk Management System in the divisions of the Mining and Processing Complex and Kazakhmys Smelting LLP took place. Fifteen employees of the company received well-deserved awards: Nurbolat Baysadykov, Kairat Sakenov, Dinmukhambet Orazbekov, Temirlan Kerymbekov, Nurlan Shakirov, Almaz Myrzabekov, Temirlan Talypov, Aslan Ermaganbetov, Marzhan Amanbaeva, Dmitry Pankov, Nurlan Abdikarimov, Zhanymbol Adreisanov.
