Quality Policy
The Quality Management Directorate of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP (hereinafter — the QMD) ensures the operation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the quality management system (hereinafter — the QMS) in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015, within the scope of its functional activities as defined by the Regulations on the QMD.
The scope of the QMD's QMS is aimed at providing complex quality control system for raw materials and it's processed products of mining and metallurgical production, technological processes using measuring instruments that meet the requirements of metrological parameters.
This Quality Policy (hereinafter — the Policy) supports the strategic direction of the development of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, is appropriate to the purpose and context of the QMD, and provides a framework for setting quality objectives.

- Customer focus: ensuring the reliability, objectivity, and timeliness of the results of control, measurement, and accounting for all interested parties.
- Process approach: managing interrelated processes as a single system.
- Improvement: continual improvement of the QMS and of all areas of the QMD's activities.
- Evidence-based decision making: analysis of reliable control, measurement, and audit data.
Responsibility and commitments
- The management of the QMD assumes responsibility for the effectiveness of the QMS, for the fulfilment of applicable requirements, for communicating the Policy to employees, and for creating the conditions for its implementation.
- Employees of the QMD are obliged to comply with the Policy, to follow the established requirements, and to put forward proposals for improving processes.
- The management of the QMD commits to continually improve the QMS and to regularly review this Policy in order to keep it current and aligned with the changing requirements and expectations of interested parties.
