Sayat Bakirov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Production at Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, held a working meeting with the management team of Zhezkazgan Mining Production.

The key focus of the meeting was on the implementation of the directives issued by the Department for Emergency Situations of Ulytau Region. The discussion centered on the need to suppress previously identified safety violations at production facilities.

Following the meeting, General Director of Zhezkazgan Mining Production Daniyar Zhanalinov was instructed to establish a dedicated working group to ensure that all facilities are brought into full compliance with industrial safety requirements.

Additionally, Mr. Bakirov emphasized the importance of strengthening oversight over the implementation of the industrial safety enhancement plan and ensuring closer coordination with relevant state authorities.
