The meeting was also attended by the heads of education departments and directors of secondary schools in the cities of Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Satpayev and Ulytau district (in the format of video conferencing). In 2020, on the initiative and with the financial support of the Kazakhmys Corporation, in order to provide methodological assistance, the Center for Pedagogical Excellence of NIS AOE conducted sociological research into the professional needs of teachers and the quality of knowledge of students. Based on the results of the study, they identified the problems of professional development teachers of regional schools face; the need to help educational organizations and teachers with the comprehensive development. Also there was discussion of prospects for the Center for Pedagogical Transformation "Ustaz-Ulytau" created with the aim of improving the quality of education in schools in the regions of Kazakhmys presence, namely in the cities of Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Satpayev and Ulytau district. Experts in the field of education formulated the tasks of this project, the solution of which will allow in the future to ensure a new quality of school activities through the formation of academic and corporate values, as well as help teachers to master new technologies and teaching methods in the context of the development of the student's personality and his professional prospects. It is planned to involve international experts in the implementation of the project - Khan M.M. (Ph.D., international education expert), Mendybaev Zh.S. (career guidance academic consultant, member of the Kazakh League of Education Experts), etc. Following the meeting and discussion, the participants emphasized the relevance of this topic and determined the start of the program in August 2021 as part of the project “Center for Pedagogical Transformation“ Ustaz-Ulytau ” in the cities of “ Kazakhmys ”presence.
