The competition will be held from October 21 to November 20 and includes several nominations. In the first nomination, the personal contribution to the reduction of risks of injuries will be presented, and the second one will determine the best of the best in the health and safety management system throughout the Group.  The selection of participants in the first nomination will take place in two stages: The authors of the risk mitigation ideas and persons implementing these solutions, who got the highest number of votes, will be awarded on November 20 at the “Safety Hour” meeting as part of the Programme for reducing the level of injuries, which is implemented by Kazakhmys together with DuPont Sustainable Solutions. The winners of the second nomination, whose names the jury will determine by secret ballot, will also be awarded at the meeting.  According to Maxim Komel, the Chairman of the IOS Committee of Kazakhmys holding LLP, the purpose of the competition is to draw everyone's attention to the opportunity to make their own contribution to reducing the level of risks at work, as well as to encourage employees whose achievements in managing production risks became an example of safety organization for the entire corporation.
