In 1995, he published a Book of Remembrance – "Bazaar" in two volumes under the General editorship of R. N. Nurgaliev. The book includes brief biographical data of soldiers called up by the military commissariats of the Zhezkazgan region, who died in battles, died of wounds and diseases in hospitals, and went missing. The members of the editorial group involved in the creation of the Book of Memory, representatives of commissariats, numerous organizations, and the public carried out painstaking work to find and systematize information about the dead compatriots. Thanks to "Bozdaktar", the relatives of many dead and missing soldiers had the opportunity to learn about the fate of their loved ones and the places of their burial. In the introduction, the authors admit that the lists of names and data are far from complete, and write: "This is probably not the first and not the last book about the victims of the war. It is clear that there are still many names unknown to us. Therefore, the work on the Book of Memory continues-this eternal memory of the fallen heroes who gave their lives for the bright future of humanity." The work on the Book of Memory was continued by the Historical and Industrial Museum named after K. I. Satpayev of the Kazakhmys Corporation. For 10 years, the museum staff has been searching for information about the dead and missing, captured soldiers called up by the Zhezkazgan, Ulytau, and Karsakpai RVC. "Bozdaktar" was updated with new names and new information found in electronic databases: "Memorial", "Feat of the People", "Memory of the People". But here we want to note that it is possible that among those who are listed as dead or missing, the names of soldiers who returned from the war will be found. Such cases have occurred more than once in the course of working on the book. The museum staff organized trips of relatives of Kazakh soldiers who died and were buried during the Great Patriotic War in the Russian Federation to the mass graves of the Novgorod, Volgograd, Pskov, Kaluga, Smolensk, Voronezh, Oryol regions. The residents of Zhezkazgan-Ulytau region managed to honor the memory of their relatives, thanks to the financial assistance of Kazakhmys. We express our deep gratitude to the leadership of the Kazakhmys Group, Eduard Viktorovich Ogai, and Bakhtiyar Abdrakhmanovich Krykpyshev, for the opportunity to worship the ashes of their fellow countrymen who stood to their deaths against the common enemy of humanity. Also, the heads and representatives of the administrations of the listed regions of Russia, search teams provided great assistance. The work on the Book of Memory for the Zhezkazgan region, which began in the 90s, is not finished today. The search continues. Every single soldier who died deserves to be remembered for every single one of them. And, we hope that over time, the terrible words "missing" will disappear from the pages of the Book of Memory, hanging over the living with a mute reproach.
