Today, Galym Nurzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, held a meeting with the heads and specialists of the geological and surveying departments at Mine No. 57 of the East Zhezkazgan Mine.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the results of the first half of 2025 and outlined priorities for the second half of the year, including:

* digitalization and technological transformation of operational processes;

* improving project and production management efficiency;

* advancing employee competencies through training programs, including on updated versions of the Micromine system;

* expanding the Corporation’s mineral resource base.

The employees raised several current challenges encountered in daily operations and specific solutions were proposed. Emphasis was placed on the importance of coordination and cross-departmental collaboration.

Galym Nurzhanov highlighted the strategic role of geological exploration in ensuring the sustainable development of Kazakhmys Corporation and noted that such meetings play a crucial role in fostering constructive dialogue and enabling prompt managerial decision-making.
