Today, in Astana, colleagues and peers bid farewell to Gabdumanap Shayakhmetov, a veteran of the workforce who devoted many years to the mineral processing.

Nurakhmet Nuriev Chairman of the Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP expressed gratitude for G. Shayakhmetov’s decades of dedicated service and his significant contribution to the development of the industry.

Throughout his distinguished career, Gabdumanap Shayakhmetov held key positions, including: Chief Engineer at Concentrator Plants No. 1 and 2, Director of Satpaev Concentrator Plant No. 3, Director of Balkhash Concentrator Plant, Director of the Mineral Processing Department, Managing Director for Ore Enrichment at Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, and Head of the Department of Advanced Technological Processes at the Mining and Processing Plant Enrichment Management Office.

He has been recognized with the «Enbek Ardageri» Medal, the «Enbek Danky» badges of III and II degrees, as well as numerous other interdepartmental and state awards, in recognition of his outstanding professional achievements and enduring contribution to the sector.
