15 large families got the keys to new flats. The Yelibayev family is among the happy new settlers. The head of the large family, Bagdat Yelibayev, brings up eight children and works as a plumber in AdalEnbekKZ LLP. His wife says that they have been dreaming of a large flat for a long time, and the cherished dream has come true thanks to the Kazakhmys Corporation.  “I am truly grateful to the management of Kazakhmys for the new flat! This company is one of the few who truly support and help their employees. They have provided all living conditions for us: a large four-room flat, a refrigerator, a TV, a washing machine, and furniture – there is everything in the house” Fifteen such families, which bring up from four to eight children, are celebrating a housewarming. In total, 133 families of the company employees in the cities of Zhezkazgan and Satpayev, as well as those living in the Karaganda and Balkhash regions, will get flats from Kazakhmys by the year-end. The program for the provision of housing to employees with large families is being implemented as part of the trilateral memorandum on the development of corporate social responsibility signed between the heads of Kazakhmys holding LLP, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the akimat of the Karaganda region. So, in 2019, the company has already provided 10 flats to large families of employees, 5 of them in Satpayev and 5 in Zhezkazgan. The company undertakes to continue providing social support to employees from vulnerable social groups, including low-income and large families.  The keys to flats were presented today by the development director of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP Bakhtiyar Krykpyshev and the akim of Satpayev Askar Idrisov. “Let me congratulate the owners of new flats with all of my heart! The provision of the first 15 four-room flats to our workers with large families in the city of Satpayev is a solution to the most difficult problem for this population category, as well as real support for the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation N. А. Nazarbayev and the President of Kazakhstan K.-J. K. Tokayev as part of corporate social responsibility in solving the problems of the population of the republic” The new settlers, in turn, expressed their gratitude to the management of the Kazakhmys Group of Companies for their assistance in solving housing problems of large families.
