Zhanat Imanbekov was born in the city of Balkhash. His parents have worked in production for more than 40 years: his father was a turner at the Balkhash combined heat and power plant, and his mother - a caster at the machinery and repair plant. At the age of 22, Zhanat graduated from V.I. Lenin Kazakh Polytechnic Institute with a degree of an engineer of metallurgy. He chose this profession not only because of his parents’ past but because he lived in the city of metallurgists. By the way, the younger son of Zhanat graduated from Balkhash vocational school and is now a shift foreman at the Balkhash copper smelting plant. Having started his career in 1988, Zhanat Ordabekovich served in various capacities and was even repeatedly awarded certificates of merit and the III class order “Eńbek Dańqy” for labor achievements. “I started as a shift foreman, and now I lead a big team. My job duties include supplies of copper concentrates and fluxing materials. I organize and conduct negotiations for the supply of raw materials. Under my leadership, the team controls the quality of the supplied raw materials according to the applicable requirements. And, of course, I distribute the received marketable products to suppliers. When I come to work, I analyze the performance of tasks for the previous day and plan work for the next 24 hours. I make a walk down of the company subdivisions, as well as the territory of the Balkhash copper smelting plant” Zhanat Ordabekovich tries to spend his free time with a maximum benefit: he is engaged in various sports activities (basketball, volleyball, and tennis), goes on picnics with his family. Pigeon breeding is also one of his hobbies.
