The laboratory is built in accordance with modern industrial standards for the quality of analytical studies as well as for the protection of the environment and the safety of employees. This new object of the production site has already begun the active provision of services for the preparation and analytical study of samples for the Balkhash concentrating mill, Balkhash copper smelting plant, and Kazakhmys Barlau LLP. For multi-faceted work, the laboratory has high-performance departments for the preparation of samples for instrumental analysis AAS and ICP with a capacity of up to 100000 and 140000 samples per year with a possibility of extension. There is also a department for assay tests with a capacity of up to 80000 samples per year and the department of “wet chemistry” with the same capacity per year with a possibility of extension. In order to ensure the transparency of analysis, as well as to minimize interference with analytical data, all laboratory processes are under the control of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS.)
