To date, this department has 1,400 employees specializing in capital and current repairs of mining, processing and metallurgical equipment. The Company's production sites are located at all Zhezkazgantsvetmet mines, including the Zhomart mine, the copper smelter, Zhezkazgan Processing Plants No. 1 and No. 2. In honor of the 55th anniversary of the specialized repair and mechanical department, the best employees of the department were honored. This landmark event coincided with the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the anniversary, employees of the Repair and Mechanical Specialized Management were awarded certificates of honor from Chairman of the Board of Kazakhmys Corporation Eduard Ogay,  Director of Zhezkazgantsvetmet Bauyrzhan Baymukhanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Karaganda branch of the Nur Otan party Bauyrzhan Shingisov, representatives of the trade union organization Kasip Korgan and Jastar Bolashag. The management and guests of the holiday appreciated the work of the workers and expressed gratitude for the important contribution to the development of the metallurgical industry.
