This is already the second computer tomography machine purchased this year by Kazakhmys corporation for the residents of Zhezkazgan region. The latest 128 slice multispiral CT machine was installed in Zhezkazgan Medical Center LLP at the end of November. This machine allows to examine all body parts and systems both natively and using a contrast medium. Equipping the two healthcare institutions with CT machines, in doctors’ opinion, will contribute to reducing the load for patient examination and diagnostics from hospitals throughout the region. Siemens 32 slice CT machine installed in Satpayev has high operational characteristics, which significantly improve the quality of diagnostics in complex clinical cases. According to doctors, the technology being used allows to examine data in any projection without losing image quality. The qualified specialists of Zhezkazgan Medical Center LLP will perform and describe the examinations performed on the new equipment. The Akim of Satpayev Askar Idrissov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP Adilet Barmenkulov, the Department of Health representative Lyazzat Ranova, Director of Zhezkazgan Medical Center LLP Vladimir Motorykin and the Chief Doctor of Satpayev Central City Hospital Zhomart Akhanov took part in the event dedicated to opening of the CT room.   The examinations will be available from December 20 of this year with prior appointment both within the guaranteed volume of free medical care and on a paid basis.
