Kazakhmys Group announces continuation of previously announced measures to increase wages for employees of the companies starting from the second half of 2021. So, based on the regularly conducted analysis of  increase in prices for basic food, non-food products, utilities and other types of services, it is planned to increase wages by an average of 12.2 percent from July 1, 2021, which will cover the level of expected official growth of inflationary processes in the Republic. Earlier, a similar increase in wages by 8.3 percent to employees of Kazakhmys Group companies was made from 01.01.2021.  Thus, by the end of 2021, the overall growth of the average wages of employees of the Kazakhmys Group companies will amount to 20.5 percent. Taking into account a stable market value of copper in the world market, the company provided additional financing for investment projects, measures to maintain production capacities and ensure the company's social programs. In addition, in connection with the projected fulfillment of production plans for the first half of this year, in order to stimulate productive and conscientious work of employees, the company's management decided to pay a one-time lump-sum bonus equal to a monthly official salary / tariff rate to all employees of Kazakhmys Group companies in June 2021.
