Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP Nurakhmet Nuriev extended his congratulations to the medical professionals of Zhezkazgan Medical Center LLP and shared the company’s plans for the further development of healthcare in the region.

«Zhezkazgan Medical Center can rightfully be considered one of the country’s leading healthcare institutions. Its highest-level national accreditation status is a clear testament to this. The center provides all the necessary conditions for delivering high-quality medical services to the residents of Zhezkazgan and Satpayev, many of whom are employees of our company»,- highlighted Nurakhmet Nuriev.

Approximately 35,000 employees of the Kazakhmys Group receive care at this medical center and its branches, benefiting from a wide range of services — from primary healthcare to advanced high-tech surgical procedures.

The institution employs over 1,100 qualified professionals, among whom over 100 medical workers have been honored with badges of distinction, certificates of merit and monetary awards for their dedicated service.

Kazakhmys continues to actively support the development of healthcare in the region. In recent years, several important projects have been implemented in Zhezkazgan, including the opening of the Lucy Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinic and, in cooperation with the Qazaqstan Khalkyna Foundation, the establishment of the «Onaltu» Rehabilitation Center for People with Disabilities. The company intends to continue this positive trend.

A long-term strategy for the development of medicine in Ulytau region has already been developed and will soon be presented to the Government. The program includes measures to further strengthen the medical center — enhancing its infrastructure, introducing new equipment and expanding specialized services.

This will allow us to perform complex surgeries for residents of the region right here in your center. To achieve this, we must continue to develop and promote our internal professional talent. At the same time, to strengthen the center’s human capital, we also plan to invite specialists from other regions»,- concluded Nurakhmet Nuriev.

The congratulatory event dedicated to Medical Worker’s Day was also attended by representatives of Orkendeu Assistance LLP, the KasipKorgan industry trade union committee, and the Amanat party.
