The management of Kazakhmys decided to apply the successful experience of the Karaganda Machine-Building Plant, which passed the stage of production modernization in 2018, in Zhezkazgan. Unfortunately, the technological equipment of foundry and mechanical plants is morally and physically outdated, we are still working on the casting technology of the 60s, which provides for a large amount of manual labor, - said Andrey Pavlovich. In order to modernize and develop the foundry facilities of the Kazakhmys Group companies, it was decided to attract a metallurgist with a long experience of managerial work - Igor Veretennikov. - Igor Vasilyevich started his career as a melting master in the city of Temirtau in 1992. Since then, he has implemented many successful projects both at the Temirtau Metallurgical Combine and at the Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoye Mining and Processing Production Association JSC (Rudny). Starting today, he will start a program to improve the efficiency of existing production, as well as the development of a modernization project, " concluded Andrey Gaidin.
