A field meeting was held at the East-Zhezkazgan mine (Jezqazgan tau-ken ondirisi) with the participation of Sayat Bakirov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Production at Kazakhmys Corporation LLP. The session reviewed the achievement of planned targets, addressed industrial safety issues and discussed organizational tasks for the upcoming period.

Sayat Bakirov noted that the mine is meeting its production plans and expressed gratitude to the team for their efforts. He paid particular attention to the state of industrial safety and analyzed workplace injuries over the past months. He emphasized the importance of strict adherence to risk assessment standards and maintaining operational discipline.

Heightened oversight is required for roof support operations. S. Bakirov stressed that successful execution of these processes depends on clear coordination between roof bolters and the surveying and geological services. He also noted that roof incidents are influenced not only by the quality of support but also by the execution of drilling and blasting operations.

During the meeting, miners were informed about upcoming winter payments. In December, employees will receive a one-time Independence Day payment («13th salary») and a bonus for Q4 2025. In February, salaries will be adjusted to account for inflation.

Similar meetings are planned in the near future at other company production sites.
