Kazakhmys recognized as Kazakhstan’s leading socially responsible company

In Astana, the awards ceremony for the national «Paryz» business social responsibility competition took place. The grand prize in the large enterprise category was awarded to Ulytau-based Kazakhmys Corporation LLP. The award was presented by the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the corporation’s leadership.

The recognition reflects the company’s large-scale, systematic efforts to improve quality of life in the regions where it operates. In 2025, Kazakhmys allocated over KZT 90 bln to regional development and employee support, covering key areas such as housing, healthcare, infrastructure development, education, sports and employee welfare.

The company expanded its voluntary health insurance program, ensuring access to quality medical care for employees and their families. Housing support was significantly enhanced, with over 60 families receiving new corporate housing. Employee social protection was strengthened through increased payments, additional guarantees and support programs and the signing of a new collective agreement.

Kazakhmys continues to develop educational, sports, cultural and infrastructure facilities, creating modern conditions for living and professional growth in the regions.

«Caring for our employees, their families, and every resident in our regions is a constant principle. Each social project is an investment in people and the future of the territories. This award is the merit of every employee and every regional resident who contributes to the development of our cities. I sincerely thank the entire team for their dedication, initiative and commitment», - said Nurakhmet Nuriyev, Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP.

Receiving the «Paryz 2025» award underscores Kazakhmys’ significant contribution to sustainable regional development and social stability and serves as an incentive to further strengthen these efforts.
