Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP Galym Nurzhanov held a working meeting with Daniel Rickleman, President of the British company Pallas Resources.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for long-term partnership. Daniel Rickleman expressed strong interest in potential collaboration between Pallas Resources/Ivanhoe Mines and Kazakhmys in conducting large-scale geological exploration projects, noting Kazakhmys as one of the key and most experienced partners in the region.

Both parties agreed to hold a series of follow-up meetings to discuss the details of cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives. The next meeting is planned to take place at the production facilities of the Kazakhmys Group, including the Geological Cluster in Zhezkazgan.

It should be noted that Ivanhoe Mines and Pallas Resources recently established a joint venture aimed at conducting geological exploration in Kazakhstan. The Kazakhmys Group includes specialized exploration subsidiaries: Kazakhmys Barlau and Qazaq Geophysics, which are consistently pursuing a strategy to expand Kazakhstan’s mineral resource base through the application of modern exploration and data analysis techniques.
