The purpose is estimation of applied scientific and engineering solutions on extension and modernization of metallurgical plants of Kazakhmys Smelting LLC. The conference is a follow-up of Scientific and Technical Conference “Metallurgy: Technologies, Innovations, Quality” conducted in Balkhash (in June). Scientists of NUST MISIS (Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, Russian Federation) and Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Benefication (Republic of Kazakhstan), and global representatives from foreign companies, such as Outotec (Europe), Nord Engineering LLC, Public Joint Stock Company “Mining and Metallurgical Company “Norilsk Nickel” (Russia), Sredazsvetmetenergo JSC (Uzbekistan) took part in the conference.
