The construction site was visited by the General Director of Kazakhmys Barlau Galym Nurzhanov, representatives of the SGS company from Canada, the General Director of Tansu construction LLP Nikolay Kim, employees of the structural divisions of Kazakhmys Barlau. The implementation of the complex is carried out in strict accordance with the established construction plan. Prior to the start of monolithic works on the construction site, preparatory, dismantling and excavation works were completed. "As in any important historical construction in the geological industry, at the request of builders and geologists, a capsule was laid in the foundation.... The main goal of this project is that we want geologists to have their own Home!" - said Galym Nurzhanov. Olga Grokholo, a field geologist of the company, who has worked at Zhezkazgangeology JSC since 2004, did not hold back her emotions during the ceremony. "I can't believe that the revival will happen so soon. It means a lot to us who used to work here," she said with tears in her eyes. Recall that the construction is carried out on the purchased territory of the geological expedition of the former JSC Zhezkazgangeology - the brainchild of the great Kanysh Satpayev. Also, during the field meeting, current technical issues on the technologies and installation of equipment in the laboratory were discussed. Technical supervision of construction and training of local specialists is carried out by SGS (Switzerland). The company is confident that the Geological Cluster will become the epicenter of the competencies of the entire geological community, combining the technical and human resources of the industry. The complex will include a training center, a campus, a laboratory, a core storage, a geological museum and an administrative building.
