The tasks of the center, which will be located at the basement level of the Medical Center, include improvement of the health of the company employees and residents of the region suffering from musculoskeletal diseases, including reduction of the initial disability retirement of Kazakhmys employees due to similar diseases by 30 % with a subsequent reduction. The center is equipped with Italian training devices “PANATTA S.R.L” (made in Italy) and multifunctional Bubnovsky trainers made in Russia. After its opening, the Center for kinesitherapy based on S.M. Bubnovsky method will provide treatment and prevention of osteochondrosis, spinal disc herniation, arthrosis, arthritis, scoliosis, and other diseases of the spine and major joints according to the original method of S.M. Bubnovsky, which will allow to provide rehabilitation and preventive treatment of a control group of miners after bruises and injuries. By the year-end, it is planned to treat 200 miners in four months. Kinesitherapy is one of the forms of physical therapy. The method of doctor S. М. Bubnovsky is based on the method of doing a complex series of exercises using special training equipment. Due to such trainers, the patients can cure such diseases as spinal disc herniation, lumbar hernia, as well as relieve back and joint pain. Therefore, the cycle of treatment is carried out under the strict supervision of specialists, and the method is selected for each patient individually depending on fitness level, diagnosis, and other important factors. To ensure effective and productive works, the doctors of the Center received training at the Doctor Bubnovsky Centers in Moscow and Karaganda. Sports trainers who will service the training equipment have also been trained at the Dr. Bubnovsky Center in Karaganda.
