Became an “underground” foreman

47 maintenance technicians and welders are working at the equipment repair section. The team is mostly young, but already with good work experience, which means that the equipment of the conveyer section of the mine, which is under the care of the repairmen, is in safe hands. The repairmen have a lot of work: in addition to the main and section conveyers, which are hundreds of meters long, the repairmen are responsible for the regular preventive and major repairs of the underground crushing facilities. The collective is divided into teams, one of which is headed by Amangazy Alimzhanov. He has been the foreman for more than 10 years, although once he did not even think of working underground. For some time, Amangazy worked at a private company and came to the Nurkazgan mine in search of a more stable and well-paid job. In 2008, when Nurkazgan was an open-pit mine, Amangazy got a job as a conveyer operator and began to master the new specialty from scratch, and a year later, when the mine switched to underground mining, Alimzhanov also moved underground, but as part of a repair section. Here he had to study again, and he was helped by Dulat Kasken, one of the most experienced workers, who also works in the repair section.  It is obvious that the training was of benefit because a year later, Amangazy became one of the section foremen and still works in this capacity. And next to him, his students are working: welder Ablay Zhanaliyev and fitter Zhaynar Elmuratov. However, the merits of Amangazy Alimzhanov were noticed by the management: this year, on the eve of the professional holiday, he was nominated for the award dear to every miner – III class badge “Kenshi dańqy.”
