Nurzada Mursalov is a successful metallurgist and millman, which is
confirmed by the III class badge “Eńbek
Dańqy” awarded to him several years ago. After graduating from Karaganda Metallurgical Institute with a degree in its
core area, he was sent to the Zhezkazgan copper smelting plant. He worked there
for several months as a smelter, and then he was appointed the shift foreman.
Gradually, he gained the experience and trust of the management. Nurzada
managed to work as the head of the section and the chief engineer of the
smelting shop, which he later headed. For ten years, Metallurgy became his
vocation, having taught him to manage and delve into the production process to
the finest details instead. In 2007, Nurzada Mursalov decided to change the specialty and moved
Karaganda to get a job at the Nurkazgan concentrating mill, which was being
prepared for putting into operation. Here he started as a foreman, then became
the chief engineer of the crushing building, and for the last six years, he has
been working as its head. He participated in the installation of a high-performance roller crusher
“Roller-press” which is unique for Kazakhstan. Its introduction at the plant is
a separate chapter in Nurzada Mursalov's record of service: for this purpose,
he had to go on several international trips to exchange experience in
connection and operation of this new equipment, since this technology had not
yet been used in our country. “The professions of a metallurgist and a millman are close to each other not only in the process but in spirit as well. Of course, it has other specifics, but I got back into a routine quickly. The purpose of the engineering and technical staff, to which I belong, is to delve and see into any production. It was even easier for me to adapt at the mill than at the copper smelting plant: ten years of experience helped me. And I was also lucky to get to know many wonderful people over these years, who influenced my professional becoming. They are: Kaysar Teleshev, Mazhit Takishev, Talgat Zhaksybekov, Baglan Tanenov, Beksultan Kasymbekov, Abdrakhman Tompayev, Maxim Li, Saulekhan Zheksembayev, Shynbolat Kulmanov, Eraly Kaliakparov. With some of them, I’m now working at the same enterprise” The development of the Nurkazgan mill continues. This is related to the
crushing building, the domain of Nurzada Mursalov, as well. In particular, it
is planned to reconstruct the mobile crushing facility, which should help the
enterprise reach the processing rate of 6 mln tons of ore per year.
