Qualified personnel, well-trained specialists are the most important resource of every company. The issues of training highly qualified professional personnel and conducting systematic work on the prevention and reduction of industrial injuries are a priority for the management of Kazakhmys and the management bodies of the Kazakhmys Group - the Committee on Appointments and Remuneration and the Committee on Industrial Safety and Labor Protection.
For the purposes of training industrial personnel, corporate educational institutions were established in 2008-2009: the Kazakhmys College of Technology in Satpayev and the Polytechnic College in Balkhash.

It is achieved through the participation of production workers in the development, updating and coordination of curricula and their regular meetings with students, as well as the involvement of experienced engineering and technical employees of the company in the educational process.

This decision will affect all categories of employees of corporate educational institutions, the increase will be made taking into account the generally accepted requirements for the formation of the basic official salary, permanent surcharges and a variable part of the salaries of teachers.
